The adventure doesn’t end when summer fades! At URJ 6 Points Sci-Tech & Arts Academy, we keep the creative and curious camp spirit alive 365 days a year with exciting year-round events. Whether you are a returning camper wanting to make something new with your camp friends or a new family looking to experience our community for the first time before coming to camp, we have an upcoming event for you.

Game Club
The Sci-Tech & Arts Game Club is an opportunity for us all to reflect and learn about a different game each month on our Sci-Tech & Arts Twitch Channel! It’s a game club where you become a member just by tuning in! Every month, we’ll select a game for the club to focus on. The games and streams are open to everyone, whether they're campers, staff, alum, or community members who have never been to camp before but love the idea of playing games or thinking about games through a Jewish lens!
L'Taken Trip
L’Taken is an amazing weekend organized by the Religious Action Center. URJ 6 Points Sci-Tech & Arts Academy sends a delegation every other year! It offers teens a unique opportunity to lobby on Capitol Hill about an issue they care about, selected from the URJ’s extensive list of current social justice issues. Our group of teens will join with hundreds of other Jewish teens for a fun weekend in Washington D.C.
Our last delegation attended in February of 2026. Our next delegation will attend in the winter of 2028!
Minecraft Meetups
Join us for one of our Minecraft Meetups designed to bring builders, crafters, and adventurers together! Whether you are a redstone genius, a survival specialist, or just love to explore new worlds, these community-driven events are the perfect place to connect with fellow players who want to particiate in Jewish-themed challenges and events. Each meetup features unique in-game challenges, collaborative build projects, and casual hangouts where you can share tips, show off your favorite skins, and make new friends. Grab your pickaxe, log on, and get ready to create, survive, and thrive together in a friendly, welcoming environment for players of all skill levels!
Jewsical
A Jewsical is an original mini-musical based on the Torah portion, written and performed by campers and staff. Past Jewsicals have featured original or parody music, and they are shared with our community during our Friday evening Kabbalat Shabbat T’filah (prayer service). During the school year, we offer online opportunities for campers to write Jewsical scripts to be performed during the summer, with support from beloved Sci-Tech & Arts staff including Eliana Rubin, our former Artistic Director.
Film-A-Thon
The Annual Film-A-Thon is an opportunity for kids and alumni to showcase their creativity through the medium of filmmaking. It is an annual showcase of work created by members of the Sci-Tech & Arts community throughout the past year. With fun hosts, movie facts, and short films that are not to be missed, the Film-A-Thon is an exciting celebration taking place in late winter 2027!
Book Club
Discover a year-round book journey with our new Sci-Tech & Arts Book Club! Designed for young adult readers, this club keeps the camp magic alive all year long through captivating stories, Jewish values, and monthly virtual hangouts with camp friends facilited by a member of our summer staff and leadership team!
